
The World T20 champion, who made his name hitting four progressive sixes in the last finished of the 2016 last against England, will join the squad before the opening gathering match at Surrey on 6 July.

Brathwaite, 29, who has played three Tests, 28 one-day internationals and 25 T20s for West Indies, stated, "I'm charmed to join Kent Spitfires for my first taste of region cricket.
"I have a decent association with Sam Billings, having played in a similar group at the IPL (Indian Premier League) and BBL (Big Bash League). Sam visited to me about the chance to join and has disclosed to me a considerable measure about the colossal help and climate on T20 evenings."
"Carlos is a demonstrated match-champ," said Kent's chief of cricket Paul Downton. "He is an unstable ball striker and a handy white-ball bowler with great varieties and broad involvement in the 20-over configuration.
