Previous Australian cricket mentor Darren Lehmann has conceded he "stresses over the prohibited trio" and "stays in contact with them."
Both Steve Smith and David Warner were given a year-long suspension, with Warner not to be considered for "any group initiative positions later on".
In the interim, Cameron Bancroft was given a nine-month boycott by Cricket Australia.
The 48-year-old who ventured down from the instructing after the ball-altering embarrassment became known said they are "grisly great people", and expectations they'll be pardoned their cricketing transgressions by everybody in time.
"They are generally great young fellows, I feel for the three players particularly, they're awesome and I stress over them all the live long day," Lehmann said in a meeting to Radio FIVEaa on Friday.

"I seek they return and play after Australia since they're phenomenal young fellows and they've paid the value," the previous mentor said.
"For me Australian cricket is the most essential thing and ideally everybody can get back and play the correct kind of cricket that makes everybody regard and appreciate the Australian cricket group once more," he included.
"It's been an extreme a month and a half for myself, yet I place myself in David Warner's shoes, Cameron Bancroft, Steve Smith… they've been to damnation and back, haven't they? Ideally, everybody excuses them. I'm certain they will. They're bleeding great people and I cherish them beyond a reasonable doubt."

In a meeting with cricket.com.au, Lehmann supported his successor Justin Langer who was declared as the new mentor of the Australian cricket group on Thursday.
"Having watched JL's question and answer session, I'm simply so satisfied that Australian cricket will be in such great hands," Lehmann said.
Australia boss sees route back for disfavored Warner
"He (Langer) has a decent gathering of players and they'll play in an energizing way, and I'm extremely anticipating watching them do that," he included.
The previous mentor additionally included he was satisfied, Langer had specified the restricted trio in his question and answer session.
