Lamichhane added to ICC World XI squad for Windies T20I

Lamichhane added to ICC World XI squad for Windies T20I Nepal's young sensation Sandeep Lamichhane has been added to the ICC World XI squad for the erratic T20I against Windies to be played at Lord's on May 31. Lamichhane, who is at present carrying out his specialty in the Indian Premier League, will join an elegant lineup that will be driven by England restricted overs captain Eoin Morgan.

The match is being held to raise stores for the reproduction of Ronald Webster Park in Anguilla, the Sir Viv Richards Stadium in Antigua, the Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica, the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground in the British Virgin Islands and the Carib Lumber Ball Park in St. Maarten. Every one of these scenes were harmed by Hurricanes Irma and Maria a year ago.

"I am favored to have been a piece of the ICC World XI against the Windies," Lamichhane said. "It is a respect for the whole nation and enthusiastic adherents of Nepal cricket, and additionally a marker that we are making our blemish on the global diversion.

In the mean time, Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has pulled back from the challenge because of individual reasons. The ICC has affirmed that a substitution will be named.
